Sarah and Ian Donlon

I decided to participate in Wish Jump 2017 to give back to the Make-A-Wish Northeast New York.  In 1999 my sister Elise was granted her wish to go to Disney World.  She was only three and suffering from a brain tumor that ultimately took her life.  I was just a baby, but I look back at the pictures and see how happy we were on that trip and how truly magical it was.  This is just a small part of what I hope to do for Make-A-Wish.  So, this year I jump in Elise’s memory and for all of the other wish children with life threatening illnesses.  Together we can make dreams come true! – Ian Donlon

This is my first Wish Jump and how cool is it that I get to jump with my son Ian!  We jump in my daughter Elise’s memory.  She was a wish recipient in 1999, while fighting brain cancer and wished to go to Disney World.  This trip was the perfect diversion from the disease and treatment and brought our family together in a stress free environment.  Elise’s expressions were priceless, she had the time of her life and so did we.  We are so grateful to Make-A-Wish Northeast New York for giving us such beautiful memories to hold.  It’s time to give back and help dreams come true for other children and families.  Thank you Make-A-Wish Northeast New York! – Sarah Donlon
